Thank you for your visit! My name is Ace, ( Artistic Colombian Empress) I've been making art my entire life, and began my journey into tattooing in the fall of 2007 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn NY. Colombian born and raised in Massachusetts, I have an always had a deep connection with nature and wildlife. I specialize in freehand black and grey as well as color work,with an emphasis on the natural world and decorative themes. My work blends elements of illustration from classic portraiture to traditional Asian, indigenous tribal and surrealism. I strive to create the best and most unique pieces for each of my clients, from small to large scale, and am humbled and honored to have the trust my clients give me to custom design their lifelong artwork.
Currently, I'm taking appointments at Bloodlines in upstate NY 4 days a week (Tuesday, Weds, Thursday , Friday 11am -7pm) and privately at Monarch in Bloomingdale NJ select Fridays/Saturdays. Deposits are required for all appointments and are NON REFUNDABLE. I look forward to making some beautiful art together! Thank you for looking.

AFTERCARE
Sandiderm should stay on for 3 to 5days.
A tattoo is an open wound and should be treated as such. It is YOUR responsibility to keep your tattoo CLEAN at ALL TIMES by following these guidelines.
Leave the bandage alone.

Leave the bandage on for at least 3 to 5 days.

Remove in the shower and gently wash with antibacterial soap and firm but gentle pressure to remove any residue and excess plasma.

Pat dry with a paper towel.

Once dry apply a light coat of cocoa butter,aquaphor or Neosporin once to 3x a day depending on your skin's natural moisture level. Itchiness is natural after a tattoo....DO NOT SCRATCH or PICK at the shedding skin. To relieve some of the itch, use the ointment alleviate the discomfort, allowing the tattoo to peel on its own.

After the first week once the saniderm is removed you may continue to use a mild ointment or mild body lotion such as Lubriderm, Eucerin or Keri.
Wash and treat

Use antibacterial soap, tepid water and firm but gentle pressure of your fingertips to wash your tattoo. I recommend solid Palmer's Cocoa Butter for healing and any antibacterial brand such as Dial for cleansing soap.
Showering, bathing, hot tubs and swimming.

Passive water exposure: showering, bathing.
NO SUBMERGING IN STANDING OR NATURAL BODIES OF WATER AT ALL FOR THE FIRST 3 WEEKS!
Protection from Sun and tanning beds.

DO NOT give direct sun exposure to your new tattoo for the first few weeks so it has time to heal and less likely to fade and or keloid.
SAFE SPACE TATTOOING. ALL ARE WELCOME.
Designs will NOT be sent out prior to an appointment. Any modifications or other edits will be done at the time of the appointment, included into the hourly rate.

NO NUMBING AGENTS PRIOR TO YOUR SESSION PLEASE!
Do NOT come to your appointment if you are feeling ill, or have any irritating skin issues,( aka sunburnt skin, or excema flareup,open sores, etc)
Be rested and ready for your tattoo experience, and wear comfortable clothing.
(if your booking coincides with your menstrual cycle, please note, it can result in a more painful and uncomfortable session due to hormonal fluctuations and fluid retention)
